Yesterday our group had the chance to visit one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and the birthplace of Renaissance. Despite the extremely hot weather, Florence dazzled all of us with its beautiful mix of medieval architecture, monuments and renaissance art. Geniuses from many fields were represented all over: Galileo, Dante, Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Donatello, and many others that heavily contributed to shape our culture.

One of the most impressive masterpieces was David, the famous statue that made Michaelangelo a star of his time at only 26 years old.

Many sculptures and gelatos later, we headed back to Rome, exhausted and happy, had dinner and enjoyed the evening. For those who wanted, there was a lovely night walk by the Colliseum and Roman Forum. Quite an impressive view to close the day!

Ci vediamo!
