Hello All!

After a few days in sunny, beautiful Playas Del Coco, Costa Rica the students have settled in and classes are in full swing! Our english and biology classes have taken the students to waterfalls on the beach for inspiration, while our functions and grade 11 courses have been poolside (and in!).

From some students obtaining their diving certification PADI course, paddle boarding, beach volleyball matches, ultimate Frisbee on the beach to beautiful sunsets, our students have been busy enjoying the Costa Rican culture and all that Playas Del Coco has to offer.

During the optional diving excursion our students swam with sea turtles, eels, sting rays and countless colourful fish. The PADI certification students have spent two days in the classroom with a dive master learning the ins and outs of scuba diving.

Last night we headed down to the beach in town to play some beach volleyball at the courts and threw a football around on the beach while we waited for sunset.

Today some of the group ventured out to paddle boarding where they had to battle some wind and found shelter in a lush bay. They even challenged themselves to some yoga on the boards.

Once we were back at the villas most students enjoyed some free time relaxing by the pool listening to music and playing with the beach balls in the pool.

Stay tuned for what exciting adventures happen next!
