Blyth Academy Community Service Programs
Blyth Academy’s 16-day program, offered through meaningful, locally driven community initiatives, teaches the kind of lessons that create true global citizens.
Our International Community Service program offers students the opportunity to become engaged in communities abroad by volunteering their time to work on meaningful locally driven initiatives. This allows them to learn first-hand about the world around them while developing their leadership and team-building capabilities—and having fun, too!
Our community service work is carried out in collaboration with locally based NGOs, and our agenda is driven by these local organizations. We ask our partners how and where we can be useful so that the work we do is relevant and meaningful to the communities in which we are based.
Each student will receive a letter detailing the community involvement hours and activities that can be added to their secondary school diploma. We are currently offering programs to Costa Rica this summer and programs to Costa Rica and Peru over March break.
