Costa Rica August 2016: Zipping Through the Jungle

Hola! This morning we were all up bright and early for breakfast at 9:00am. Once everyone finished those who signed up for zip lining hopped on a bus and drove thirty minutes to the adventure park. From scenic views and thirteen different zip lines it seemed the day would never end. Gliding upside down or doing the superman was exhilarating to experience and to watch. The final platform was even surrounded by monkeys. They swung down from the trees and were so close you could reach out and touch them. The students who participated had smiles ear from ear!

We returned back to the hotel and the students had time to grab a quick lunch before we were off to our next excursion. This time we drove down the road to one of Costa Rica’s most famous beaches, Playa Hermosa. The students had a few hours to relax on the beach or swim in the ocean. We started a pick-up game of volleyball amongst a few of us whilst some of the students went on a banana boat ride. After a fun day in the sun we returned back to our villas and had yet another delicious dinner. Since we were leaving early in the morning everyone packed their bags and headed to bed early.
